It was a very good day for us. We came up against a good side in Holker, who are top of the league.
We started brightly and put them under a lot of pressure.
The lads followed our game plan, and I thought we thoroughly deserved the three points on the day. We could have been out of sight by halftime; it's a fantastic result for us.

Salanki added about his journey so far at AFC. John stated he has loved every minute so far.
We very nearly have as many points as we ended up with all last season, and we are only in October.

It's been hard, of course, but all worth it on days like this.
