Allscott put last weekend's defeat behind them and got back to winning ways.

First Half.

Parry still out with cracked ribs so Fletcher took the number 1 shirt. From the start the football was very scrappy on a pitch which proved difficult to play on. Allscott AFC did dominate from the start and the back four wasn’t troubled. In the 24th minute and well won flick by Boswell put AJ Maiden through on goal to score his first goal of this season with a lob over the Ketley Keeper. Parker was posing as a big threat against the Ketley defence who controlled the left side of the pitch. Heston was a solid unit at left back and didn’t put a foot wrong. Centre backs Davis and Bentley have gelled together and forming a great partnership. Gregory was put to Right back to change formation to 4-4-2 which stabilised the play.

1-0 Half time

2nd Half kicked off and Allscott went out and showed some great signs of class for 15 minutes and kept the Ketley team in their own half. Bradshaw’s throws was proving too difficult for the Ketley team to handle and it was only a matter of time before Allscott got another.
A cross into the box found the head of Boswell who passed it back to Bradshaw who spotted Davis by the near post to slot home the captain’s first goal of the season. Ketley then made a change in the middle of the park that made an instant impact. Ketley got a free kick and the Ketley Sub found the end of it and headed into the Allscott net.

Allscott made a change with Bradshaw going off and Childs replacing which exerted energy in the middle of the park. Oldfield was also commanding walking through the whole the Ketley team with ease settling the play.

Leech then came on to replace Maiden with 10 minutes to go by that time the game looked settled with no team looking to score another goal.

Game finished 2-1 to Allscott which was a hard worked game.
