A very entertaining game that could have so easily have gone either way. A lot of tough rugby played in the middle of the pitch for the first 20 mins with no scores from either side. Then Upper Eden gained some traction scoring 2 tries to take the lead. What we have been delighted with this season is the spirit and character that Alnwick show when we go behind. It was like a red rag to a bull as we all pulled to get her to come back and take the lead. Great combination of power, support, width and pace. However, Upper Eden were not done and fought back to win by a single try despite and exchange of tries between each team at the end. Great game to watch.
