35 overs a side 7 overs max per bowler.
I lost the toss and they decided to bat.

Freddie and Leo opened the bowling and were as tight as a drum stifling runs and taking wickets. They both bowled 4 overs as too keep them for the death. Myself and Cieran took up the batten bowling are full 7 overs.
Then came Archie and Young Will who kept the batsman in there box bowling superbly.
The fielders were also on fire and we looked like a pro outfit something we may not be entirely used to.

Our Innings

Out went the Farther and Son Methley combo. Mike took the attack to Dunsfold from ball one smashing it to all corners setting the tone. Having given us the platform Mike graciously stood to one side allowing the youth to continue the fight. Leo and Freddie put together a partnership which moved the game away from Dunsfold leaving there hope fading. Archie was next out facing down a barrage of bouncers. Then Cieran was in he dispatched the bowlers with aggression. Freddie was the main man with the bat again smashing us to victory with probably his biggest ever six.
It must be mentioned that a large Chesterman/Methley/Dent supporters group acted as the twelfth man. Pushing the team on all afternoon with help from a liquid only diet. Well done to all and many thanks for your support.
