Ben rejoined the Nomads in the summer of 2020, following spells with St. Andrew’s and Allexton & New Parks. Tansley, whose Father, David, also represented the Nomads, was born in Leicester and grew up in Anstey, representing the County in Cricket and Cross-Country, as well as Football.

Joining the Swifts at the age of five, the talented athlete successfully negotiated a trial to earn a scholarship to play football at the College of Charleston, representing the Cougars in the Colonial Athletic Association. Playing in the NCAA Division One, the highest level of collegiate sports in the United States.
