Thanks for your application and welcome to ANTS. We have 2 different sections of training, if your child is in Yr8 or above they are in the Wednesday night session from 7-8pm at Alton College (Winter) or Anstey Park (Autumn/ Summer). If they are yr7 or below, we run sessions on Sunday morning in the sports hall at Amery Hill School and in the summer & early Autumn, we go outside to Anstey Park.

Timings for sessions are
MiniAnts: 9.15- 10am (school year 2-4)
U11: 10-11am (school yr5-6)
U12: 11-12am (yr7)

Pitchero: You are here! We use this as our primary method of communication and administration, so it’s helpful if you set up your notifications and have all your details completed and up to date- if you haven;t yet- please do this! We use your availability for training, matches to future plan. It is so helpful if you keep up with this.

Fixtures for the under 11 and under 12 are on Thursdays at Wavell School, U13 & U14 are on a Tuesday. If your child is in these age groups and would like to be considered for the team, please make them available for selection using your pitchero app.

Membership & Fee’s: You have 2 weeks to decide if you like us and then you will need to set up a standing order of £10 a month for subs. The bank details are ANTS Netball Club, TSB 77-25-06, Acc. 00001746. You should put your child’s name and word subs as reference.

England Netball Affiliation: Please note that you should register your daughter with England Netball for their membership for the current season, they will be unable to take part in competitions & won’t be insured. The link is https:///EnglandNetball and the code to link to ANTS is 6841.

Ready to Play: Please remember hair tied back, nails short, earrings removed (not taped) for all forms of netball. Ensure trainers are supportive and fastened securely and your child brings a drink to sessions. As they get older, quick and more able you may need to invest in Netball specific trainers in order to support their movement most effectively. Club is available from our Kukri shop for approximately 6 months, in the meantime please contact us to borrow in the short term.
