This weekend the First team entertain Saxton Rovers in the Charity Shield quarter final. Without having played for the past 3 weeks because of cancellations a game will be welcome change. Saxton sit second bottom but have picked up some good results recently most notably a 2 -2 draw against Kintbury so it wont be an easy game.

The Res have another quarter final game in the A G Kingham cup this time against Burghclere Res. Having not played them at all this season this will be the first of 3 meetings between the sides. We should be going into the game full of confidence after last weeks win against Faringdon res who were 2 leagues above us.
