Youth convenor Dayle Jones & girls lead Jill Shaw have been at the forefront of this - liaising with Insts & Civil Service in the boy’s section and Ballynahinch, Cooke & Donaghadee in the girls.

New coaches have been recruited along with some new players in both the boys & girls sections.

There has also been some great news that Abi Carson has been shortlisted in the Ards & North Down Council sports awards in both the U15 & U18 Girls sections.

Last Saturday Ards U16 boys combined with Insts & Civil Service to play BHSFP at Civil Service the combined team ran out convincing winners with all of the Ards players performing well.

Last Sunday the U12 girls combined with Ophir to play in a blitz at Cooke and the U14 & U16 girls combined with Donaghadee to play at Banbridge.
