ASH MINI RUGBY CLUB
Club Rules
Ash Mini Rugby club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all its members. The club believes that it is important that member, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Caroline Gunter, who is the clubs safeguarding officer and has responsibility for club child protection matters.
As a member of Ash Mini Rugby Club you are expected to abide the following club rules:
• All members must play within the rules and spirit of the game this includes respect officials and their decisions.

• All members must respect other team members and opponents.

• Members should keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach or team manager if they are going to be late.

• Members must wear suitable kit- Suitable clothing for weather conditions, rugby boots, team rugby shirt for competitive sessions, as agreed with their coach.

• Members must pay any fees for training or events promptly.

• Attendance at away fixtures- transport to and from away fixtures is to be arranged by parents and is not the responsibility of the club.

• Junior member’s behaviour remains the responsibility of their parents and parents are requested to remain present during fixtures and sessions unless agreed by the coach or a delegated responsible adult is present. The club has a zero tolerance towards fighting and bullying and any member deemed to be found in contravention of this may be suspended for a specified period of time or asked to leave the club.

• As the club is run by parent volunteers for the benefit of all the children that take part, it will be an expectation that all age groups and their parents will take it in turn to help maintain the club house and leave it in good order for other users.
