Chairman Mark Hayes is very pleased to announce the visit of Welsh side Rhydymwyn FC as our only home pre season friendly fixture. Rhydymwyn are a newly promoted Cymru Alliance side who net season will be playing against sides like Rhyl, Llandudno, and Porthmadog.

'Our pitch is looking fantastic already, and behind the scenes the likes of Jimmy and Scott really have been working on it non stop. We have a great link with Wigan Athletic, and their help over the last few weeks has been priceless.

July 28th really will be a coming together of all the hard work both on and off the pitch from all the previous weeks. We want as many faces new and old down to the club that day which will be free entry for all, and dependent on the weather we will have a BBQ and lots of stuff for the kids. I really cant wait. There is a great buzz about the place'

The Rhydymwyn FC game will kick off at 3pm, however at 1pm our newly formed North West Youth Alliance side will take on our reserves.
