Three defeats on the bounce now for Ashton United going into this fixture, Danny Johnson is certain his squad can start to pick up some form and there’s no better place to do that, than at the home of the Magpies who sit 3rd in the Evo-Stik Premier league. Despite recent form Ashton United have still managed to find the net, scoring 3 away from home at North Ferriby United on Tuesday night & have scored 24 in the league thus far, which is up there with the best of them in the league. Danny’s lads seem to find another gear when playing higher opposition & will be hoping that will be the case in this clash with Chorley.

A good home crowd is expected but it would be fantastic if some of our home supporters could make the short trip to Chorley to get behind the lads. There is no coach to this fixture; any fans whishing to travel will have to make their own travel arrangements. If you’re travelling by car and have space the club would like to encourage car sharing as an option to keep costs down, this can be done via the fans forum.
