Adrian Clements, who is our main contractor alongside daughter Daisy and colleague Carl, took a week out from the refurbishment to take part in the Tokyo marathon last week.

Having completed it, this meant that he has successfully finished the 6 major marathons around the world, and qualified him for his special 6 star finisher medal.

This is a major achievement with only 20,000 people worldwide having earned the medal.

The 6 marathons are London, New York, Chicago, Boston, Berlin and Tokyo.

Many congratulations to Adrian on his achievement from everyone at AOE.

Adrian was soon back to work and another article will follow showing the recent progress as we approach the final stages of the refurbishment.
