Well, what a season! The women’s team put in a massive effort this year from the very beginning. Finishing top of the league with 13 wins out of 14 scoring an impressive 470 points along the way! It was such a shame that the league finished the way it did but we still got the promotion we deserved.

There were impressive victories with well over 50 points in our favour and also some ground out wins where the team showed their grit and determination. The women have done everything we have asked and taken everything in their stride to continue getting better.

It has been a pleasure coaching this year and special thanks goes to Jen and Bex who have lead the team both on and off the pitch. Would also like to thank everyone for their fantastic support both home and away, you guys really made the difference!

Also to echo Jordan, thank you to the groundsmen at AOE it really shows how fortunate we are to have the pitches in such good condition all year round. Also thanks to everyone for making Aston the place that it is.

We are looking forward to a new challenge next year and continue this journey.
