We are delighted to announce that we have extended the loan deal of Alex Giles from EFL League Two side Gillingham until the end of the season.

Alex originally joined The Millers at the end of November on an initial one month loan, but this has now been extended until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Since joining Aveley, Alex has played in both defence and midfield and has showcased his skills helping The Millers to victories over St Albans City, Boreham Wood and Hemel Hempstead Town, and a draw at home to Welling United.

We look forward to seeing Alex continue playing for Aveley for the rest of the season.
