As is fast becoming an Aveley FC tradition, the club have once again given a new Manager the oppotunity to 'cut his teeth in the game'.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Lee Hodges, who joins the club taking over the post of 1st Team Manager, vacated with the recent departure of Carl Griffiths.

Club Secretary Craig Johnson told Pitchero "It has worked before for us, and with Lee and the backroom team he is brigning to the club, we feel it is the right time for those guys too. The club has taken it's time in reaching the appointment, and are confident that Lee will suceed. Lee will meet the players tonight, and his first game in charge will be the Essex Senior Cup game this Wednesday"
Craig finished by saying "We should also not forget the work done by Micah Hyde and Lee Patterson over the past 2 weeks, allowing us the opportunity to sieve through the many applications received for the post".
