Garrett continues in his second spell with the football club, initially joined us back in the 2017/18 season making his debut on 10th March 2018 in a 1-0 defeat to Ware. Garrett went on to make 14 appearances in his first spell, helping take Aveley from the bottom half off the table to mid-table security.

Garrett then moved across to Greece and played for Nafpaktiakos, Agios Nikolaos, AO Episkopi and Almyros Gaziou from 2018 until coming back to the UK in 2021.

When coming back to the United Kingdom he signed for Welsh based side Connah's Quay in the Welsh Premier Divison. After a season there Kelly moved to Isthmian Premier League side Leatherhead and then to Isthmian North side Heybridge Swifts.

In March 2022, we re-signed Garrett and he went on to score twice in seven appearances against Witham Town and Romford which helped clinch the Isthmian North title to promote us to the Isthmian Premier League. Kelly his form in the Isthmian Premier League making 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals as we secured a Isthmian Premier League Play-Off victory over Hornchurch to secure our place in the National South for the first time in our history.

Last season, Garrett again made 46 appearances, scoring once as The Millers secured a play-off spot against all odds. In total he has now made 113 appearances for the football club, scoring seven goals in total and assisting a further two goals.
