The highly-rated young goalkeeper began his career at AFC Sudbury, where he made 11 appearances during the 2021/22 campaign, notably during their famous Emirates FA Cup run. The following campaign he added another five Cup and Trophy appearances which includied Sudbury's victory over St Albans City.

Blunks' goalkeepeeing performances saw him snapped up by EFL League One side Wycombe Wanderers. The 20-year old then spent time on loan at Bowers & Pitsea before moving to National South side Braintree Town, where he went out on loan to Kettering Town during the first half of the 2023/24 season.

The young 6ft 4 keeper then departed Braintree, moving to Isthmian North side Felixstowe & Walton United for the second half of the 2023/24 season, where he kept an outstanding 9 clean sheets in 17 games and starred in the Seasiders run to the play-offs. This also included a run which saw Felixstowe not concede for over 500 straight minutes of football, seeing Blunks pick up the Golden Glove Award for February 2024.
