Kai joined The Millers at the end of October from Isthmian North side Basildon United where he scored an incredible 13 goals from 13 games, which included a hat-trick against Welwyn Garden City in the FA Trophy.

His form saw him highly sought after and Aveley won his signature. Kai went on to make his debut against Concord Rangers and scored in a 3-2 victory where he also scored. Brown went on to make 16 appearances scoring twice and assisting a further two times.
