Match Preview: Tonbridge Angels vs Aveley
It’s back to the bread and butter of the league on Tuesday night when we travel to Kent to take on Tonbridge Angels.
Aveley make the trip across the Dartford Crossing this afternoon to take on Tonbridge Angels in the Vanarama National South.
Like all midweek games, it’s a tough slog for the part-time Millers who make the relatively short midweek journey to Tonbridge. Our hosts on Tuesday night are looking for their first home league victory since defeating Bath City on the 21st October, since then draws against high flying Chelmsford City and Hampton & Richmond Borough followed.
Last weekend The Angels were defeated away at Hythe Town on penalties in the Second Round of the FA Trophy, so will be looking to put that right on Tuesday night.
For Aveley they will be looking to take that momentum from two goals in the last five minutes against St Ives Town forward into this match and get back to winning ways after back to back losses against Bath City and Chelmsford City.
