We are delighted to announce the signing of Braintree Town striker Matt Rush for the upcoming 2023/24 National South campaign.

Matt Rush becomes The Millers latest signing, joining from fellow National South side Braintree Town.

Rush, 22, started his career at Southend United making his way through the youth ranks before making his debut during the 2019/20 season, making 7 appearances in Sky Bet League One, and then another 7 appearances in Sky Bet League Two the following season scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient at Roots Hall.

The centre forward spent time on loan at Tonbridge Angels and Chelmsford City in the National South scoring for both clubs, before joining Braintree at the beginning of last season after Matt's depature from Southend United.
