Having impressed in Aveley's 2-0 defeat to VCD at Mill Field a fortnight ago, the league leaders approached the Millers for their in form midfielder.
And after careful consideration Nesbitt has decided to take the opportunity to join the current league leaders, seeing it as a chance to win the league title this season and with it play in the Ryman Premier next campaign.
His now former boss, Justin Gardner said "Even though I'm gutted he's leaving us I wish him nothing but the best of luck. He's been a pleasure to manage.
"It's a big blow to lose him, but with the recent budget cuts at the club, the finance they had to offer as well as the chance to win the league was too much for him to turn down."
Nesbitt took to Twitter to bid farewell to Aveley, tweeting "Like to wish @AveleyFC and @thGaffa (Justin Gardner) best of luck for the rest of the season. It's been #emoshhhh"
