Worst performance of the season as Wroxham win 5-0.

On a cold and windy day Aveley were blown away by four goals from Christy Finch all in the second half.

The first half was one of the worst games I've seen for a long time, it was such a tight game, that nothing actually happened.

Wroxham had the first chance of the game, Jamie Forshaw's effort was wide of the target as he was under pressure from Billy Holland, the Millers captain was down injured and received treatment.

Sammy Knott did well to turn the ball off the line from a Wroxham corner. The ball was floated into the area, Howell somehow managed to lose his marker without moving, and his header was cleared by Knott in the right place and time.

Wroxham was awarded a free kick on the edge of the area. It was saved by Marrable, but pushed into the path of Hinton who converted but the linesman already had his flag up for offside. Couldn't tell if it was the correct decision or not, but it gave the Millers a lifeline.

Aveley finally had their first chance as Alex Stavrinou's free kick was drifted into the box on the 45th minute, but the header from Billy Holland was always going wide.

Half Time- Aveley 0-0 Wroxham.

Something needed to happen to spark the Millers into existence, but Spencer Harrison failed to cut out a long ball, and Billy Sendall pulled down Finch inside the box, penalty was given to Wroxham and Billy Sendall was handed a red card. Finch stepped up and placed the ball into the bottom corner. Marrable went the right way but couldn't get a hand onto it. Aveley 0-1 Wroxham.

Aveley then made a substitution as Mathias Bakare came on for Danny Hopkins.

Aveley's biggest chance of the game came as Paul Burnett played the ball to Alex Stavrinou, but he seemed to delay his shot, when he did shoot the chance was gone as Wroxham were able to get defenders in the way to block the ball from going towards the goal.

Wroxham doubled their lead as a simple ball down the middle of the pitch seemed to carve open the Millers defence like the Red Sea, Finch was running alongside make-shift centre back Paul Preston, Finch shot left footed into the bottom corner for his and Wroxham's second. Aveley 0-2 Wroxham.

James Marrable made two great saves to keep the score down, and he seemed to dislocate his finger. After a stoppage of five minutes as he seemed to try and pop it back in as everyone had a go at doing so, he carried on in goal.

Wroxham were then awarded another penalty as Marrable came out and he pushed a Wroxham player over I side the box, and the linesman waved his flag and referee have the penalty. Finch stepped up and completed his hat trick. Aveley 0-3 Wroxham.

With Wroxham's next attack they scored again. It was really like watching a training ground match, worrying the ease with how Wroxham got through our defence every attack they had. Remy Gordan was allowed to run down the left hand side unchallenged, he pulled the ball back to Finch who scored yet again. Aveley 0-4 Wroxham.

Finch then turned provider as he then pulled the ball across to Nathan Stone who fluffed his shot leaving him embarrassed on the floor. Wroxham attacked again and Finch got his assist as he pulled ball back to Remy Gordan who tapped it in to make it Aveley's biggest defeat since 7-1 to Hendon in the Ryman Premier League. Aveley 0-5 Wroxham.

It could've been six or seven to Wroxham, the final act of the game was when Jordan King picked the ball up 30 yards out again unchallenged he shot and the ball cracked the bar.

Full Time- Aveley 0-5 Wroxham.

Man of the Match- Christy Finch.
