Brentwood equaliser in the 85th minute to deny Aveley all three points.

The first half was really a non-event. There wasn't any real huge chances throughout the game, it sometimes felt like it was an end of season game where both clubs had nothing to fight for.

Alex Akrofi looked dangerous throughout the match, the first chance came on 13minutes as Rees shot trickled into James Marrable's hands.

The Millers then had to long ranger go over the bar, the first from Jack Stevenson and the second hit on the volley went over the bar from Billy Holland.

Junior Baker was penalised for a foul after he was the one who was tackled by Richardson but a free kick was given.

The biggest chance of the first half was still a half one. Richardson out through on goal by Dafter but he dragged his shot wide of the target.

Half Time- Aveley 0-0 Brentwood.

The second half was the complete opposite to the first.

Arian Retkoceri raced through on goal after a lovely ball over the top by Petrit Elbi, but as he was about to shoot he was taken down by Stokes and a penalty was awarded.

Jack Stevenson converted as the goalkeeper went the same way but he placed t right in the corner. No keeper would've saved that. Aveley 1-0 Brentwood.

The reply was almost instant. A beautiful volley from the edge of the area by Brentwood right back Jack Gardner struck the bar and the rebound was smothered by James Marrable.

A few minutes later Theo Ola went on a superb run but his luck was out as his shot was deflected off Millers captain Billy Holland into the arms of Bowles.

The visitors again created a massive chance as Brentwood danger man Alex Alrofi carved apart the Millers defence but took too long to get his shot off and James Marrable came out superbly to deny him.

Another ball came into the Millers penalty box and in attempt to clear the ball out of the area both Aveley centre backs, Spencer Harrison and Junior Baker collided. After a nasty clash of heads both centre backs could not carry on (and was treated in hospital later that night). They were replaced with Luke Stanley and Robbie Farrell.

Due to no defenders on the bench centre midfielders Steve Willis and Billy Holland had to drop into the gap.

A free kick in a dangerous position was given away to Brentwood. The ball was whipped in by Rees, Richardson headed the ball back across the goal and Alex Akrofi squeezed the ball in. Aveley 1-1 Brentwood.

Ten minutes were added on time due to the injuries.

Steve Willis took one for the team as he took down Akrofi as he sprinted towards goal to deny him.

The Millers could've won it as Petrit Elbi created the space for Robbie Farrell but his shot was blocked by Stokes.

In the end it was a fair result for both sides. A good battling performance from the Millers.

Aveley stay tenth and that draw puts Brentwood up one place to 4th in the Ryman North.
