A goal in the last minute of the game for Cheshunt's game the hosts all three points.

It was a deserved victory for The Amber army at the Lane on a really windy day which played havoc throughout the match.

The hosts started the better as the Millers couldn't get going with six players missing. Within the first five minutes Cheshunt should've been infront, a corner whipped in was headed directly up in the air by Essuman as Marrable missed, but on the second attempt James Marrable collected.

Arian Retkoceri played well throughout the game, he was on the end of a late tackle from Illsley which was the first tackle of the game, and he was handed a yellow card.

Cheshunt then put even more pressure on the Millers as after good work from Milner down the left he forced a corner. The ball was again put in superbly and someone went across the six yard box and out for a goal kick.

With the hosts next attack they should've led. Bolle was put in behind after the ball was won in midfield, Bolle went round James Marrable but his shot wasn't powerful enough and George Essuman did well to clear the ball off the line.

Cheshunt carried on their siege to the Aveley goal but it was living a charmed life in the first half. After three successive corners for the hosts the final one, Toms saw his header crack the bar and go over for a goal kick.

The Amber army again then missed two glorious chances as Llewellyn went round Marrable but shot wildly over the bar. The Andreos was next to be put through he put the ball under Marrable but this time Billy Sendall was in the right place at the right time to clear the ball off the line.

Cheshunt got through again only a minute later, it was Bolle who had his first shot saved, he followed up with his second but he lashed it over the bar when the goal was gaping.

The Millers then did have their first shot of the game on target but it wasn't really enough to trouble the Cheshunt keeper. Jack Stevenson tried a shot but the goalkeeper tipped it wide for a corner.

The Millers should've then taken the lead against the run of play. Corner was taken by Ahmed Deen and from three yards out Arian Retkoceri seemed unmarked with a free header but somehow it just didn't find its way in.

The last chance of the first half again came to the hosts. Clemo got in behind Ahmed Deen, he pulled the cross back to Andreos free in the box but again he put his shot over the Aveley bar.

Half Time- Cheshunt 0-0 Aveley

The second half was a bit more quiet in the opening minutes.

With ten minutes gone in the second half the deadlock was finally broken and this time it went with the run of play.

Ex-Miller Mitch Hahn found himself in acres of space inside the Aveley penalty area and he lashed home on his right foot into the roof of the net to give Cheshunt the lead. Cheshunt 1-0 Aveley.

Aveley then started playing better and Jack Stevenson was at the heart of all the good football coming from the away side. His 35 yard free kick needed to be tipped wide by the keeper to deny him a spectacular goal.

Just a minute later his through ball put Billy Holland through on goal with just the keeper to beat but he didn't know whether to go round or chip the keeper but ran out of time and Heywood came out on top to deny the Aveley captain.

With 70 minutes gone the Millers put on another striker as Arian Retkoceri came off for Danny Francis.

Five minute later the Millers capitalised on some slack defending. A simple ball over the top wasn't dealt with by Clemo as he tried to header it back but the ball just wouldn't set for him to do so. Robbie Farrell chased down the lost cause and managed to get a toe to it to take it past Heywood and into the back of the net via the post. Cheshunt 1-1 Aveley.

Jack Stevenson through ball set Danny Francis through on goal but he just couldn't get his shot off against the on rushing Heywood in the Cheshunt goal.

The Millers were on top for the first time in the game and had to take their chances. Robbie Farrell carried the ball down the line and into the box but his pull back was just behind Danny Francis looking for a tap in and the chance was gone.

The game became very open as both sides wanted to win it. And in the first minute of added on time the hosts won it. The ball wasn't cleared properly out of the area and it fell to Clemo who made the error for the equaliser and his 25 yard shot found its way into the bottom right hand corner to give the Ambers the three points to get them out of the relegation threat completely.

Full Time- Cheshunt 2-1 Aveley.

Millers XI- Marrable, Bakare, Deen, Essuman, Sendall (Stanley), Okwera, Retkoceri (Francis), Holland (C) (Reynolds), Farrell, Stevenson, Elbi.

Unused Subs- Knott, Rowland.
