2024 AGM Review....

The clubs AGM was held on the 16th July. Chairman Grant Britton gave a review of the season both on and off the field highlighting both the difficulties experienced and also the successes over the course of the year.

A finance review was outlined and given to attendees by Club Treasurer Billie Rewiri-Lloyd. Copies of the review were on hand for attendees and can be made available to all paying members upon request. An honest and open discussion of club finances were held amongst attendees with all being made aware of our overheads and where we find ourselves currently. The discussion confirmed the need to increase annual subscriptions and tighten our financial belts. A Club cost Info pack will be posted below and around the grounds to ensure all members are aware of monthly overheads.

Following this the election of officers was held and for the 2024/25 season and were voted as follows.

-President - Gerry Weatherhead
-Chairman - Grant Britton
-Vice Chairman - Lee Durbin
-Secretary - Lisa Britton
-Treasurer – Billie Rewiri-Lloyd
-Fixture Secretary - Andy Woodruff

Subscriptions.

Annual Subscriptions were proposed and voted in as follows:

Full playing member:[b] £140 upfront or in 4 instalments of £35 via club website Standing Order system
[b]Vet Membership (Over 35's):[b] £100 upfront or in 4 instalments of £35 via club website Standing Order system
[b]Student Membership (Those in Full Time Studies):[b] £100 upfront or in 4 instalments of £35 via club website Standing Order system
[b]Social Membership:[b] £35 in full via club website Standing Order system or at the Bar tills

All Standing orders [b]MUST be set up with payments to be made each month. This must be in place by 31st August and the first monthly payment to be made on 31st August. Players who have not paid subscriptions or started a monthly arrangement for payment will not be eligible for matches, training, physio, food or gym access.

Mini & Junior Review.

A review of our mini & Juniors season was given by Caretaker Junior chair Wayne Donnelly with notice that a committee is being rebuilt around him to ensure the running of our junior section continues smoothly. The group will focus heavily on ensuring safeguarding protocols are being followed, our GMS system is kept up to date and that M&J subscriptions are paid on time.

Mini & Junior Subscriptions have been agreed by club committee and the junior caretaker to include x1 parent social member (£35) sign up with child(ren) and are set as follows:

1 child + 1 Parent Social Member = £125
2 children + 1 Parent Social Member = £185
3 children + 1 Parent Social Member = £125
Tots + 1 Parent Social Member = £55
Avengers + 1 Parent Social Member = £55
Parent Social = £35

Project

Phase 1 - Shower boilers replaced - COMPLETED May 2024

Phase 2 – Windows and doors replaced around the clubhouse.

Phase 3 - Overhaul of home and away toilet and shower areas

Phase 4 - 2nd xv pitch flood lights removed and replaced with new stanchions/LED lighting.
4.1 – plateau pitch and 1st XV pitch light units replaced with LED units

Phase 5 - 1st XV pitch handrails removed and RFU approved duralock handrail system installed around 1st XV/2nd XV & plateau pitches.

As a committee we look forward to pushing the club forward and strive to make it an environment where ALL our members can enjoy the game.
