This month our 1st XV have been voted the RFU's Men’s Levels 9 to 12 Team Of The Month.
After the last few seasons being a tough return to the game following the pandemic this is a fantastic to see and is testament to the boys dedication on and off the field. Currently the boys are 5 from 5 after Saturdays fixture Vs BAC being handed to us, September saw the boys P4 W4 in Counties 3 Tribute Gloucestershire South:
15 – 32 v Whitehall
27 – 12 v Ashley Down Old Boys
12 – 53 v Clifton III
17 – 81 v Old Bristolians II
Without doubt one of the best starts to the season in over 5years. The RFU reported Forwards Coach Ryan Templar, said: “Our strong start to the season is down to the dedication of the players at training. We now have huge competition for places across all our men’s teams which has brought out the best in players.
“The club is flourishing again, not only with the results on the pitch. It’s a joy to see and the feeling and buzz around the club is electric.”
Club Chairman Grant Britton said: “Our men’s section has had one of the best starts to a season in over 6 years but we’re certainly not counting our chickens yet: there’s some stiff competition in the leagues.
“With three senior men’s sides now running out and our ladies’ section also starting strongly, it’s set to be a great season.”
Well Done Lads, Keep up the good work!!
