Baffins Milton Rovers FC 2 Andover New Street FC 0
Baffins ended the season on a high, with a brace from Tyler Moret ensuring the points to push them up to fifth in the table.
With the pitch looking green and the sun blaring the conditions were more like the start of the season, than the end.
The early exchanges were pretty even with Freeman Williams finding Max Paddon, who advanced before firing wide.
At the other end Zac Hine exchanged passes with Iylis Warshow, before finding Josh Wilson who fired wide of the far post.
Moret gave Rovers the lead in the 8th minute in spectacular fashion, with Max Paddon challenging for the ball, it squirmed invitingly into the strikers path, who hit a first time effort from at last 30 yards out back pass George Baxter.
Minutes later and Jason Parish found Moret, whose cross was laid back to Tommy Leigh and his effort was deflected wide.
Moret doubled Rovers lead in the 16th minute when a Wiliams cross was deflected into his path, he calmly turned and fired home.
Minutes later and Owen Haly combined with Leigh, who cut inside and sent a thunderous effort against the crossbar, with Baxter well and truly beaten.
Rovers were enjoying lots of the ball and Robbie Taw combined with Moret, who was on for his hat trick, but having beaten Baxter, his effort went outside rather than inside the post.
Successive Leigh corners created openings for Rovers, with both Haly and Parish guilty of heading wide.
H/T 2-0
The early stages of the second half were pretty much the same and Taw combined with Paddon, who thumped a header against the crossbar.
The visitors showed a lot more going forward in the second period and Nathan Collins should have done better, when found unmarked in the box from a Shane Lock corner, but somehow managed to fire wide.
Minutes later and Hine did well to hold off his marker and advance, only to see his effort well saved by Cameron Scott.
Scott was again the busier of the two keepers and was again in the right place to deny Warshow with a great save, after the striker was given time and space inside the box.
The last word was also had by Scott who turned over the top an effort from Warshow late in the game.
