The long trip to Weymouth ended in victory for Baffins Milton Rovers as they took the three points to move into fourth place in the league table.

It was an overcast day that greeted the sides, and following heavy rain overnight, the pitch at the Bob Lucas Stadium was going to be zippy and passes had to be accurate. The home side took early advantage of the quick surface and raced into a seven minute lead when Ollie Watts made a uncharacteristic mistake, he tried a back pass to goal keeper Tony male but it was too short and allowed EDGAR ZANIN to nip in and tap the ball pasty the onrushing keeper.

After the goal is was one way traffic for long periods as chance after chance fell to Weymouth reserves however they couldn't take them, in part due to last ditch defending by the away defenders. Once the chances for the hosts had dried up the visitors set about trying to force away back in to the game and they managed it just before the half hour mark. The team in Blue earnt a free kick from the left, George Thomas floated the ball in where Shane Cornish was able to find room in the box to run in and plant a fine header past Boore to draw the teams level, which is how it was to stay as the half time whistle blew joust over fifteen minutes later.

neither side made any changes at the break as the game re started and settled into a midfield battle that seemed set to stay until Baffins made the break with sixty one minutes gone, Tyler Moret was able to retrieve the ball in the middle of the park and then found JAMIE WHITE with the through ball that the forward was able to run onto and dispatch into the net past the helpless goalkeeper.
The goal sparked the second half to life and the home side were awarded a penalty when a shot hit the raised arm of Josh Maddision, despite the protest the referee's decision stood and Zanin had the chance to level the game for his team, however Tony Male guessed correctly that he would shoot straight down the middle and produced the save with his feet to keep his side in the driving seat.
that save was to prove crucial as it was the visitors that struck the game decisive fourth goal, a great flowing passing move in midfield started with Blu Boam who then passed to Potter, his ball out wide to MORET was perfect and he made no mistake in turning a defender inside out before scoring and then celebrating with his ecstatic tea mates.

Weymoth reserves tried in vain to get a goal back but as they surged forwards the Portsmouth based side struck again in injury time, Harry potter had a shot from the edge of the area, it was saved by Boore but it rebounded kindly for GEORGE THOMAS to get the simplest goal he will ever score from five yards out.
