Cup Final Pen Notes

Mike Boreham
Took over the gloves mid season, confidence has shone over the last few months. His form is a major factor in us being here today with a string of M O T M performances.

Jay Martin
Probably Jays best season, his organising and talking makes him a real leader on the pitch. His partnership with Tom is really starting to work

Tom Hickman
Old fashioned centre half with a no nonsense attitude. Has grown in statue since start of season. a real understanding at the heart of defence with Jay Martin.

Martin Buckley
Been with us since the early days the family man he is has seen him miss a few games but he can always be relied open when needed.

Joey Robson
Another who joined us mid season, an experienced player with the ability to read the game, great attitude and a sweet right foot.

Brad Ashby
A player of real quality with the ability to use either foot. Can play in any position as if he has played there all his life.

Zak Colaluca
First full season for a couple of years due to two serious injuries. Been a slow recovery but now getting close to his best form.

Chris Brew
Another player who has improved as the season went on. Always has given 100% without fail. A pleasure to have in the team

Mathew (Maka) Parish
Rejoined us half way through the season, instantly making us stronger in the midfield. Matured over the years now a player that lets his feet do the talking.

Adam Foy
Moved from full back to centre midfield and what a transformation 100% commitment every game for the full 90 minutes. A managers dream

Adam Hatch
The utility man of the team. The ability to use both feet means he plays all over the pitch but of late a more central position has seen him raise his game to the next level. On the Short list for player of the year.

Eric Esiobe
Missed a huge chunk of the season due to work commitments. A real presence on the pitch. A superb all round player with great feet.

Grant Bilney
Gets better every season. Pace and strength to scare any defence. Scored some really important goals on our cup runs and league campaign.

Jason Hammett
Rejoined late on this season. Quick feet with the ability to create chances from nothing, tireless running with a selfless attitude.

Jack Webb
Another good season from Jack as usual plenty of goals and got quicker and stronger which has seen him become a really important cog in the works.

Billy Dolby
Injury put pay to Billy's season at the end of last year. Star turn, who returned over the last couple of weeks and a decisive late headed goal to continue our cup run.

James Melcher
Commitment in running other Baldon teams means we call on James when needed. What a player to call on for any of the eleven positions. Real experienced and quality.

Manager - Danny Webb
In his 10th Season at the club been amazing since day 1 what a pleasure to have at our club.

The Game itself was very end to end and credit to Eltham Town they were very strong and resilient and had chances themselves, the game was 0-0 at Half time which was a fair reflection of the 1st half.

2 early changes for Baldon Sports meant the Introduction of Melcher and Big Eric and this galvanised the team to push on and 2 quick fire goals from the Goal Machine Hatch followed by a neat finish from Hammet confirmed the Victory.

Commiserations to Eltham Town in particular there Keeper who was immense and Congratulations to our lads and the Gaffer Danny Webb been a long time coming.
