Bamber Bridge FC's Director of Football Neil Crowe today confirmed the loan signing of defender James McCarten from fellow Evo-Stik Premier club Warrington Town.

The 6’3 centre half started his career with Everton as youth player and captained their Under 18s side, being named as their player of the year in 2009. He later joined Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth before heading to Warrington in 2012.

Jay joins Brig's other two new signings this week, Daniel Wisdom and Ben Thomas.
