We are very proud of our U11s manager Rob who has been included in "The People of Banbury" Community Portrait Project.
Banbury BID today announced the official launch of "The People of Banbury," a unique community engagement project showcasing the diverse and inspiring individuals who make the town vibrant.
Located at Banbury Train Station, the project features a series of captivating portraits by local photographer Sam Bennett.
Each portrait is accompanied by a QR code linking to a personal video story, created by filmmaker Phil Stanley, offering a deeper connection to these remarkable individuals.
"The People of Banbury" was made possible through the generous support of Chiltern Railways' Community Investment Fund. The project aims to celebrate the spirit of Banbury by highlighting the contributions and stories of its residents.
"This project has been a long-held dream of ours," said Jasmine from Banbury BID. "We are thrilled to see it come to life and hope to expand upon it in the future. The entire BID team has worked tirelessly to bring this initiative to fruition."
Zach Bailey, Regional Growth Manager at Chiltern Railways, expressed his enthusiasm: "We are delighted to partner with Banbury BID for a second year to celebrate the unique stories of local people and enhance the passenger experience at Banbury Station. This project builds upon our previous initiatives, including the active travel and walking map, and complements the upcoming station improvements, such as the new café, toilets, and painting program."
The community is invited to visit Banbury Station to explore these inspiring portraits and learn more about the incredible people who make the town a special place to live.
