After playing for Midland Alliance side Coventry Sphinx in season 2007/08, Josh started the following season with Southern League Woodford United, before opting to move to Southam United for the first time in December 2008.

After playing for Coventry Alliance side Stockton in seasons 2009/10 and 2010/11 he returned to Southam this past summer for a second spell and had scored 5 goals in 9 games for them this season prior to his move to the Spencer Stadium.

Josh made his debut for Banbury in Tuesday night’s Birmingham Senior Cup game against Rugby Town.
