The Villagers welcome the league leaders Runcorn Town to the Hinchliffe Holmes stadium on Saturday afternoon, as they look to continue their unbeaten league run.
The clash sees two of the league's inform teams go head to head in what is expected to keen fought Cheshire derby.
The Villagers come into the game on the back of a ten day break, and we caught up with manager Steve Lloyd ahead of the huge clash: "It's been an intense 23 games for us, which has seen us play twice a week most weeks. So from that perspective the rest has been a good thing."
He added: "We have some momentum in the league at the moment and it's critical we don't allow any rustiness into our play against the top side, but we've trained well and I'm not concerned about that."
Lloyd was also delighted with how his side have performed defensively over the last few weeks: "I'm delighted with this area in our game management, it's easy to focus and put praise on the back four, but we try to defend from the front. We still need to draw on all of these qualities against a top Runcorn Town team, our work rate and movement off the ball tomorrow will dictate how we are able to match up with them all over the pitch."
Runcorn head to Barnton in fantastic form, having picked up 33 points form the last 36 available in the league.
Saturday's contest will be the first league meeting between the two Cheshire teams and Barnton will be looking to pull of the biggest upset of their season.
Team News:
Lloyd is able to call upon the same squad that featured last time out, with Ryan Malone returning to the match day squad.
