We are pleased to announce Dave Bryning as the new chairman of Barnton FC. Dave comes to us from our Junior section and knows the club inside out.

He has overseen full transformation of the Junior set up over the last 3 years and has played a pivotal role in the integration of the Juniors with Barnton FC.

Joining Dave will be new Secretary Neal Salomon, match day Secretary Iain Wright, Commercial Manager Niall Owens, Director of Football Garry Moore, who will all be supporting an already strong group of committee members.

Speaking to Dave he had this to say “I am extremely proud and honoured to become Chairman of this great club, I must start by thanking the outgoing board, Steve, Mike, Andy, Karl, Peter & Jayne as well as Niall who has kindly agreed to stay on. They have all helped immensely to transform Barnton Football Club into a well-run and respected non-league club. The foundations laid over the last few years have enabled a smooth transition for the new committee to take the reins.

With the support of our Junior section and our connections with the local schools, businesses and most importantly the people of Barnton, I feel we can continue to make Barnton Football Club the friendliest and most welcoming club around. The Junior section is continuing to flourish season by season and will become a huge part of the clubs identity for years to come.

He added “As a committee we look forward to working closely with the management team, players and supporters with the objective of getting this club back into the North West Counties Premier Division.

Lastly I hope it won’t be too long before we can all welcome you to a game at The Offside Trust Stadium, until then stay safe and enjoy the summer”.
