What a way to start the festive celebrations.
Christmas arrived at Barton Cricket Club with the annual Yuletide draw courtesy of the evergreen Ray Brimmicombe who has raised thousands of pounds for the club over many years.
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a 'bit of bingo' - enter eyes-down looking maestro Steve Porter and not forgetting wife Jane who was in charge of the cheese and biscuits.
Then it was the turn of the children to have some fun as Santa Claus arrived - some may say from Wales! - to hand out presents at the children's Christmas party.

All the volunteers who have made these events possible have been thanked. It's just great to see the Barton family spirt and ethos alive and kicking at Christmas.
