New signing Montel Gibson was pleased to be presented with the Man of the Match award in his first game for the club against Nantwich Town.
Despite the result ending in a draw, the teenager worked tirelessly down the wing throughout the 90 minutes, having only joined on loan from Notts County the previous day.
The forward believes the experience at Barwell will aid his chances of breaking into the team once he returns to Meadow Lane at the end of his spell.
Gibson said: “When you go out on loan, you have to put the work in to get back into the first-team squad.
“It motivates me to work hard and to get man of the match is a bonus, really, to put a good shift in and be rewarded for it.
