Jimmy Ginnelly's men started the game on the front-foot, with Ryan Seal putting in an impressive display from the start against his former club. Barwell's first half wing backs, Jake Whitmore and Eddy Nisevic, both constructed dangerous attacks from the wide areas, putting the visiting defence under a lot of pressure.

Barwell's flowing attacks bore fruit in the 20th minute, as a Jorrin John cross from the right fell into the path of Saint Kitts and Nevis international, Ryan Robbins, to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

However, in the 36th minute, Hinckley striker George Bowerman capitalised on a defensive error and slotted the ball past substitute goalkeeper Mikey Turner, who replaced Liam Castle after 30 minutes.

The sides went into the break level at 1-1. Just four minutes after the restart, though, as Ryan Robbins scored his second goal of the game. He got on the end of another cross, this time whipped in from the left, and tapped in from close range to regain the lead for his side.

Barwell extended their lead in the 54th minute, when former Hinckley man Ryan Seal won the ball in the box, took it around the goalkeeper and walked the ball into the net from close range to make it 3-1 to Ginnelly's men.

Just four minutes later, Ryan Robbins sealed his hattrick with another powerful finish from inside the box. Robbins went close to adding a fifth just minutes later, but his shot was comfortably saved at the near post by Whitcombe in the Hinckley goal.

One minute later, Hinckley defender Francino Francis powered a header in from a corner to pull a goal back for his siding, making the score 5-2.

Barwell's three-goal cushion was restored after two minutes though, as midfielder Nigel Julien pounced on a rebound in the box and put the ball home.

The game then settled down, with the play mostly being dominated in the middle of the park, and Barwell - yet again - comfortably saw out the game.
