Barwell travel to the Suffolk coast on Saturday to play Lowestoft Town. The long trip, to the most easterly settlement in the UK, will see the Canaries face a team who lost on the opening day at Hednesford Town but beat St Ives Town midweek.
Barwell picked up their first point of the season on Tuesday away at Alvechurch. There were goals from Jamie Towers and Brady Hickey and both will be looking to add to their tally on Saturday.
Last season the same fixture was a 0-0 draw, played in bright October sunshine, and the encounter at Kirkby Road finished 1-1.
There is a coach going from Barwell at 08.30 and supporters are welcome to travel on it with the price being £10. Parking is limited at the ground but available on surrounding streets.
