Kings Langley visit Barwell FC on Saturday 31st August in the latest Southern League Premier Division Central game. This final game of August sees 7th place, and unbeaten, Kings Langley make the trip up from Hertfordshire for the first time. Kings Langley were moved in to the Premier Division Central from the Premier Division South at the start of this season. They finished 6th last year in what was their highest ever league finish.
Barwell are in 16th place following the 2-1 defeat to Banbury United on Monday. Kings Langley did not play on Monday, against Hitchin Town, due to problems with their pitch.
Kings Langley have beaten Nuneaton Town and Banbury United away for their 2 wins and drawn their other games which were with Stratford Town and Peterborough Sports. They have scored 10 and conceded 4 goals in these games. McKeown and Campbell-Mhlope are their joint top scorers with 3 goals each.
Barwell will be without Andy Wycherley who has returned to AFC Telford United. Goalkeeper Wycherley was on a month loan at Barwell but has been recalled early by his home club. Jamie McAteer could be in contention for a start having returned from injury at Banbury United where he came on at half time.
The Club Shop will, once again, be open before the game and at half time with a good selection of old programmes available. Richard looks forward to welcoming fans from both sides.
We look forward to welcoming all associated with Kings Langley to the club on Saturday and hope they have a safe trip to Leicestershire.
Kick off is at 3pm.
