[b]FA Charter Standard awarded to Bawtry Town Football Club[/b]

Grassroots football in Bawtry and District has been given recognition following the award of FA Charter Standard to Bawtry Town Football Club.

Clive Simpson Secretary of Bawtry Town FC, said:” This award is a great boost for us as it recognises not only the hard work put in by our committee players and sponsors in recent years will help us but the solid progress the club has made in recent seasons

Kevin Sanders of Nottinghamshire FA commented “Congratulations to Bawtry Town Football Club for working with the Nottinghamshire Football Association to secure this award. We will continue to work with them to support football development in the area.”

Note to Editors:
Bawtry Town teams will play in both the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Senior League and the Doncaster Senior League from the 2013/14 season. An Under 21 team will also play in the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Senior U 21 League from September 2013.
