Coalville Town U18S were the visitors to Beaumont Park on a wet windy Thursday night. The game didn't quite go to the script with Coalville taking the lead with a defensive error. But in good old fashion Beaumont style they hit back with real intensity and new signing Fidele certainly made a statement in his first game with a first half hatrick. With a header from Owen and a goal from Shad Beaumont went into half time with a comfortable 5-1 lead. Credit to Coalville in the second half they came back with 2 goals in 2 mins to just start to ask questions of the Beaumont Park Squad. Fidele then popped up with his 4th and Beaumont Park's 6th.
Beaumont Park took the deserved 3 points and went to the top of the league without a real convincing performance but that's part of development.
Next weeks game against Heather will be the biggest test for this newly formed side but we relish these fixtures as it gives a great opportunity to challenge the players against the best sides at this level.
