U18s had Kidderminster Harriers as the visitors the visitors on Wednesday and hoped to revenge the defeat from the first game. As thought the Kidderminster team were a well organized team and were proving to be difficult to break down. A well contested first half finished 0-0 to leave it in the balance and a intriguing second half to come. Beaumont Park new the game was there for the taking and came out with a different intension. Beaumont Park eventually took the lead with a goal from Marley. This then meant Kidderminster had to push for the game and playing on a full size pitch instead of a minimum size 3g pitch Kidderminster are use too we new there would be more opportunities. This came 6 mins later with a goal from Danny to make it 2-0. With continued pressure on the Kidderminster defence Dean popped up with a 3rd. Beaumont Park now closed the game down and completed a good win and 3 points and takes us 3rd with a game in hand.
We know move on to Wulfrunians on Thursday 7.45 kick off at Beaumont Park which will be a real test and the first time the 2 teams have met.
With know having a good number of players in the Leicestershire Floodlit squad we are still looking for 2 coaches to help take this group of players forward. We have some of the best facilities in the Midlands and and the support of UEFA qualified coaches to help support this player development and individual coach development.
