About us:

  • Beccehamian RFC (Beccs) was formed in 1933, with mini and junior rugby starting in 1974, Ladies in 1999, youth girls (U12-U18) in 2019, and Walking Rugby in 2022. There is something for everyone - and you don't have to play rugby to enjoy it! Full Beccs club history link here.
  • Beccs are a NOT-for profit organisation.
  • Beccs is run entirely by dedicated volunteers - we are always needing more to help ease the load!
  • Nearly all the Beccs executive committee (link here) have had in the past/or currently have some involvement in supporting their own children through the Beccs Mini/Junior sections of the club.
  • Beccs have been a Jack Petchey Foundation scheme approved organisation from 2009.
  • Beccs are very proud to be a Star Scheme accredited club from 2024.
  • Beccs were one of the first clubs in Kent (in 2023) to be part of Kent RFU mental health well- being pilot, with trained mental health first aiders - focusing on supporting our young people.
