For the first time this Sunday, Beccehamian RFC is happy to announce the First ever session for our U6s age group.
This age group is aimed at children in school years Reception and below and aged from 3 and 5 as of the 1st September 2013.
Mini Rugby is where it all starts. If your child is wanting to learn about rugby, this is a where you start. New players are almost always enthusiastic and want to get stuck in right away, but like everything, you have to learn to walk before you run. Therefore, at this level we spend time having fun but developing skills and learning the rules at the same time. The most important thing is that the children learn how to play the game safely within a fun and enjoyable environment and in the right spirit.
If you are interested in bringing your child down to experience mini rugby. We suggest they have a 2-3 weeks trial to see if they enjoy the sessions, before joining as a member of the club.
Please come appropriately dressed for all weather conditions and make sure they bring a water bottle. A child that is cold will not enjoy the day!!
The session will start at 10:30am prompt and finish at 11:15am.
We do encourage parents to join in when required and be around at all times. Afterwards, all are then welcome in the club house for a bite to eat and drink.
Thank you and see you there.
