U9's rugby is classified as Mini Rugby.

Everyone is welcome to join the U9's squad regardless of skill, experience or gender!

To qualify for the U9's squad, you must be 8 years old at the beginning of the season (1st September) - this equates to being in School Year 4.

Whenever we are not away at a fixture, we have training/practice at Beccehamians (Sparrow's Den) on Sunday Mornings from 10:30am until 12noon. All are then welcome in the club house for a bite to eat and drink.

Play is regulated by RFU Age grade rules of play

Pitches : 60m x 35m +5m for ingoal areas.
Ball Size : 3.
Squad Size : 10 players.
Players on Pitch : 7 players;
Max Single Fixture Duration : 15 mins each way.
Max Festival Fixture Duration : 6 mins each way.

Playing the new adopted U9 RFU Rules, focusing in on first year of contact and tackle only.
