A large crowd gathered at the Clubhouse on Friday June 11th, 2010 and were kept entertained by the superb Nigel Owen.
Robert Jones (Doobie) took the second of what was going to be five players, player of the year awards, with centre Liam Thomas ,who was later hampered with some severe injury problems, taking the player of the year. Luke Crocker now at Pontypridd first came on the scene at the Club as Most Promising player.
Development XV stalwarts James Richards (Dogsy) and Paddy Connolly took thier awards.
Whilst another current Pontypridd player Chris Phillips took the youth team player of the year along with fellow prop Liam Bodman who is now playing in Ystrad Rhondda. Youth team skipper Luke W Davies was a big choice as players, player of the year, whilst Mitchell Jenkins who enjoyed an excellent season claimed both top try scorer and top points scorer. Lloyd Montague was seen by the coaching staff as the player who had most improved during the season.
A certain Mal Davies walked away with the Clubman of the year for all his efforts particularly with the youth team.
There was several presentations made to age grade internationals that played for our youth team. Whilst there was special presentations to Tommy Lewis and Gareth Wyatt on becoming life members of the Club.
