We are delighted to welcome Chicken George Jnr to The Eyrie for the 2023/24 season and beyond!
Legendary chicken shop & restaurant Chicken George Jnr will be serving their acclaimed menu at every Bedford Town FC match at The Eyrie.
For those who have been living under a rock... Chicken George was first established by George Cheah in Luton in 1985. 30 years later, George's son Chris took the reigns and parachuted the chain into society, winning The 2016 Best Takeaway in Britain Award, Wing Jam and Europe's biggest wing festival Wing Fest. Chris opened his two Chicken George Jnr restaurants in Bedfordshire, most famously in Hitchin and recently took the town of Bedford by storm opening his Tavistock Street branch.
Chicken George Jnr's food truck has appeared at food festivals in locations such as Luton, London, St Albans and Barton-le-Clay. Now their truck will occupy a space at The Eyrie Stadium every single matchday, starting from tonight's match against Peterborough United. Head along the East Stand where Chicken George Jnr will be positioned between the main stand and the BTFC Heritage Centre.
