Bedford Town FC is delighted to confirm that Joe Butterworth has returned to the Eyrie. The midfielder originally signed for the club in November, on dual registration terms from Stamford, to help cover the period we faced without Danny Setchell and Callum Donnelly.

The club have now reached an agreement with Stamford and Joe to bring him in on a more permanent basis. We would like to thank everyone at Stamford for their assistance with this.

Speaking to www.bedfordeagles.net, manager Gary Setchell commented "It's great that we have been able to bring Joe back into the squad. He originally signed for just a few games last month, but we're happy with him and he is happy here, so it makes sense. We're all looking forward to seeing him back involved."

Having remained registered with the club, Joe is available for our 'trip' to Biggleswade FC on Monday. As this is an away game, all Eagles supporters (including season ticket holders) must pay to get entry to the Eyrie.
