Bedford Town FC is disappointed to announce that Jameson Horlick has been recalled from his loan, and returned to Luton Town FC. Jameson had been performing well since joining us in mid-January. We do, however, understand Luton's reasons for recalling him and wish him all the best as he joins another club higher up the pyramid on loan for the rest of the season.
The news of Jameson's enforced departure meant that we had to organise a replacement goalkeeper loan. Lee Bircham has acted swiftly to bring in 20 year old Jonathan Macaulay from Watford on loan. Jonathan joins us from today on a youth loan, and will remain with us for the rest of the season.
Also joining the club this week is Kyjuon Marsh-Brown. Kyjuon returns to the club, eight years after playing under Jon Taylor in 2017. Since leaving the Eyrie, he went on to represent Egham, Whitehawk, Welling United, Biggleswade Town, Dartford, Hemel Hempstead Town, St Neots Town, Royston Town and Concord Rangers. The attacking player has joined on terms until the end of the season, and has been registered in time for tomorrow's home fixture against Stamford at the Eyrie.
Our final new signing this week is Khanya Leshabela. Khayna is a 25 year old midfielder and has been with Leicester City and Enfield Town, along with Cape Town City in in South Africa. Khanya has joined us from Spalding United, and we thank them for their help today in assisting with the transfer.
As mentioned in last week's update, tickets for our fixture at Hitchin Town on Easter Monday are on sale now. The fixture is not an all ticket, however, should sales go well there is a chance it might become all ticket. It is therefore advisable to purchase your tickets before game day. Tickets can be purchased via the Bedford Town online box office, and you can access this by clicking here.
Voting for Supporters Club player of the year starts tomorrow. Voting slips are available from Max at the Golden Goal stand as you enter the ground.
