Bedford Town Football Club can confirm the registration of Shaun Keane. The 18 year old defender (who can also play in midfield) has signed #PitchingIn Southern League registration forms.

Keane started his youth career at Leyton Orient, spending four years there. He then moved on to Peterborough United, again spending a further four years at London Road.

Speaking to www.bedfordeagles.net, Manager Gary Setchell said "I'm delighted to have signed Shaun after impressing in preseason. He can play in a variety of positions across the pitch, something that will come in very useful."

Shaun has signed in time for this afternoon's Emirates FA Cup tie against St Neots Town at the Eyrie.
